Welcome to P.S. 188, The Kingsbury School.

P.S. 188 is best characterized by its child-centered approach to elementary education. We are committed to the academic and social development of each child. Individual differences are accepted, encouraged and integrated into a cohesive educational system. This philosophy gives every student the opportunity to:

Our school is a community dedicated to the growth of all its children. This influences everything that goes on in our school, including class organization, curriculum development, lunch program, and the way in which people relate to one another.
